Artist inspired by avant-garde paintings, dadaism, mantra makes new, modernist artists, challenges the way things are and making new meaning to them. She is a balance between feminism and masculinity (androgynous), fluidity in her gender, languages, so she moves between categories discretely. Oku jazz fusion, differs from his father"s taste, his likes are experimental as a source of authenticity. His taste in cooking is intergenerational fusion, he makes something new through experimentation with other members of the tribe too, there is an increased potential of authenticity. She rejects food, food is a metaphor for culture and exotica that is forced down her throat, the traditional versus the authentic. Her cultural mix (hybridity) giving her the ability to defy barriers (courier moves up and over things, doesn"t get struck in traffic)
