All providers including telus and rogers, plan to implement the new unlocking rules on time. We can see that business will not only begin to take hits on unlocking fees but may also find themselves breaching the new wireless code if they are unable to adjust the bill management to reflect the amendments. Changes to the crtc wireless code will empower customer to understand their contracts better, change service providers with ease, access unlocking services free of cost, cap overage fees and much more. Consumers will be given more options with regards to their service providers.
