The knowledge economy, where canada"s economy was sued to be based on the products people made from raw materials through manual labour, today"s economy is an information economy based on knowledge. The wold"s economy is becoming more global due to: netscape, promoting connectivity and free flow of information, software like paypal and other communication platforms that promote wider cooperation, open sourcing, outsourcing, smartphones, wi-fi and file sharing. Teams are the way businesses do business these days. Communication: is having something in common through the transmission of ideas, emotions and skills through sharing knowledge and exchanging information. Or a transactional and relational process involving the meaningful exchange of information. Communication doesn"t simply happen, it is something that is learned and requires skills beyond the ability to talk.
