Be able to facilitate an environment where children feel belong and build relationships with their peers. Consistently talk to the parent build a relationship with them. Children with disabilities have additional risks to their development, and appropriate early intervention can prevent further delays and additional impairments as well as minimize barriers to a child"s learning and healthy development. Why is it important: critical or sensitive period, domains of development is interrelated. A delay in one domain of development affects the others. Within inclusive early childhood settings, children may have very different learning needs, learning styles, and rates of learning, yet each child"s growth is appreciated and encouraged. Teaching approaches are based on children"s strengths and are embedded in learning experiences and daily routines. Medical model impairments should be fixed .
