Includes the content of the law (rules) and the institutions, players and process. The law includes: the constitution and customary practices, statues (acts, regulations made under the authority of statues, municipal by-laws made under the authority of provincial statues, court decisions, administrative broad and tribunal decisions. Legal institutions: representatives of the crown-the governor general and provincial lieutenant governors, legislatives federal parliament and provincial and territorial legislatives, the executive prime minister and federal cabinet, premiers and provincial cabinets, courts, administrative boards and tribunals. Legal processes: enacting legislative, passing regulations and by-laws, bringing protections, brining lawsuits. 5: deciding cases at trial and on appeal, making administrative decisions. Who is in the legal system: citizens, executive branch, bureaucracy, lobby groups, politicians/legislative, courts/judges, administrative tribunals/boards, lawyers, legal philosophers, law reform commissions, inquires, regulatory compliance managers. Moral theory: gives you values, principles, rules and context for perspective reasoning, should help sort out con icts between values and principles.
