Document Summary

Miicrofibres: more thinner, acryllicm nulonfm poluesyer. Invented in japan: thin, soft hand, fluid drae, can ameka microfribre by: Cutting it up: take 2 incompatible polymers extruded together and sperated. When fibres come out their amorphous and drawing makes them more straight in crystalline. Making polymer chains more stronger and smoother. Create loft, stand up and away from other fibres. Done to set fibre into a permanent shape. Measure of a textile products ability to meet consumer needs. Viscous rayon, coopro, hwm (high, wet, modulous) Mostly cellulose: wood pulp is a common ingredient. Viscose rayon: strong and abrasion resis, soft fluid drape, hydrophilic, low wet strength. Cuprammonium/bemberg rayon: finer, more sheer, softer fabric, more drape, used in higher prices linings, only produced in europe. Japan, made from beech tree pulp: high performance rayon, longer cellulose chains, wrinkles less, higher strength than vis. Is shrink resistant, stronger when its wet: can be mercerized for a cotton hand, undergarments, sleep wear.
