Animated film on glass plates, one of the first animated films. Anyone enjoying such a thing should be shot (1905) Lawrence griffith, stage name of d. w. griffith (1875-1948) Tried to get a job at edison studios, submitted a plagiarized script of la tosca . A few years later, he begins producing these films.
