Increasingly, environmental laws and regulations are attempting to reduce the quantities of packaging. The regulatory requirements come from a variety of different regulatory agencies and departments of the government. Let"s connect to circular economy building block #4. Individual members are responsible for complying to waste related regulations (compliance is determined by their sizes) There has been a growing use of extended producer responsibility (epr) Ensure that environmental claims comply with local laws relating to false or misleading claims under trade practice law. Manufacturers are financially responsible for the disposal of their products past consumption.
