Portuguese-speaking angolans and mozambicans (1990-2005: reasons for immigrating, economic & political instability that"s present in both places, they used to be colonizes of portugal. They gained it b/c they fought a war with portugal, bot b/c the govn"t had a sudden realization. Even if they have married or have children in their families b/c it saves them money in the process: this means to us, that when they search for housing, they try to occupy houses with their co-ethnic. Italians already have when they arrive a well established community. For angolans & mozambicans it"s diff, b/c they are recent immigrants. They don"t have network or support b/c there"s not many of them already here. However, there is a strong portuguese community here: relations with the portuguese community. Those that arrived to canada in between 1990-2005. Mozambican south east part of africa. Angolans south west part of africa.
