Geo 802 week 9 march 26, 2018. Kenya is the kingdom of the golden sun. Carnivore restaurant: variety of meat found in kenya is served. Height of 2000, great rift valley: too cold for crocodiles, good for hippos, 50 metres deep, surrounded by 4 mountains, amazing array of birds, more than 400 species. Hippos spend large amounts of time in water, and only surface when they need air. Crescent island where all the animals were introduced by man. 7 of the largest lakes in the valley, can clearly be seen from space. Lo(cid:272)als sa(cid:455) (cid:862)ke(cid:374)(cid:455)a lies i(cid:374) the (cid:373)iddle of heave(cid:374)(cid:863) East africa is in a unique and natural paradise: gazelles and water bugs, no danger, no lions. Large areas of kenya were known as national parks or game reserves. Without conservation, little of this habitat would have survived. Animals have a peaceful effect on those who observe them.
