Lecture 1: Urban Geography - Scale of geography means the unit of analysis. - Upside down triangle. On the top is GLOBAL (largest scale of analysis) at the bottom is your ROOM/HOUSE. - We are studying CITY which is in-between. 1) Global 2) Regional (North America) 3) Country 4) Provincial 5) Municipal 6) Ward (Neighbourhood) 7) Street 8) House/Building - Local Variability – can be anything.
