Dslr = costs rack up quickly with most starter kits costing near ! New type of prosumer (professional consumer) camera are more reasonably priced at. but lack exibility & features of dslr: include neat features like wi- compatibility, quality of output! Dslr offer most control & exibility when it comes to setting up photo! Some areas of distinction include: point & shoot meant to operate in auto-mode, aperture control, depth of eld! Aperture = opening that allows light in! Range within which objects appear in focus! Water hose analogy: shutter speed control! Length of time that camera lets in light!
