Weimar republic was born of competing declarations, revolution, and incomplete. Convincing other nations that germany was willing to co-operate, economically stable, and not going to wage war. Gustave steseman made this point to the league of nations. Hitler joined the nsdap (national socialist german workers" party) and became a prominent member. Hitler became fascinated with the idea of all german peoples in one united nation (grossdeutsch) Social darwinism and religious prejudice initially fuels antisemitism. After the war, he"s missing the feeling of community continues to serve military in any way he can, in this he finds the nsdap and quick becomes a member. Hitler helps shape idea and rhetoric of party, this includes: An expansion of german territory (race & space) Better quality of life for germans (food, land, salary, etc. ) Emphasizing importance of nationalism (defined by blood) and grossdeutsch. Group providing security and defending nsdap/fighting with other political parties. Made up of many freikorps veterans and beer hall thugs.
