Cloud consumer: any org. or human, org: ryerson is the consumer of google apps. Individual: we use gmail etc: citrix app is also cloud, can also be cloud provider. If ryerson had its own cloud: can be from provider or consumer side, from consumer side, can create vms etc, controlling all the resources but the vms, administered by consumer, have the flexibility to make changes. If the provider is admin, you may have to wait and may not get the service as you want so there might be some generic policies. Other roles: cloud broker, trust relationship and usage of the service, making sla, contract between provider and consumer, negotiator between provider and consumer, kind of like isp.
