Or can people have their own words held against them: should ppl be publically displaced bc of their personal opinions, ppl should be able to think what they want, but not do what they want. Modern definition: privacy is not about secrecy. Appropriation the action of taking something for one"s own use, typically without the owner"s permission. Different if used by magazine vs newspaper. Eavesdropping, photographic surveillance, searching private records, goes beyond reasonably necessary and becomes intimidation, embarrassment, distraction. But also used for better insurance rates, also for monitoring health, low cost sharing of info for economic gain: signalling ppl giving up their privacy, sorting and dossier: problems. Screening collecting scraps of information about a person.
