Comparing Dimensions-- Power Distance and Identity:
Pretty strong correlation between power distance and individualism
Collectivism tends to correspond with high power distances
Costa Rica- strongly collectivist society (small power distance)
oReally tight knit group of people, egalitarian
Everyone is working at the same level, no need for strong
authoritarian presence
Not the case with countries that are strongly collectivist
Argentina, Iran, India, Japan, Morocco, Spain all fall in the middle
Smith and Hume reading looks at accountants ethical beliefs
