A huge issue that spiderweb inc is having is their compensation system. The system that they are currently using to compensate employees is not satisfying many of the workers. The best course of action for spiderweb inc. would be to introduce a new method for compensation. This is because when a compensation system is administered appropriately, it is much more likely that employees will be satisfied. With employee satisfaction comes motivation to work, and continue to build towards the goals of the company. If spiderwebs want to retain its employees, it needs to know that, top performers want to work in jobs where they add value to the organization and are rewarded for doing good work. Since spiderwebs has a mostly generation y population, they are dealing with workers that are, qualitatively different (schwind et al, 2013) from the other demographic groups.
