Students are also not expected to evaluate the qualiicaions of a research team, which is more prevalent in other types of criiques: conducted by other researchers (peer reviewers) to assist journal editors with publicaion decisions. Known as refereed journals, which are oten more presigious than non-refereed journals. A blind review, involves two or more anonymous peers who are experts in the ield criiquing a study. i. Ideniies of the authors and peer reviewers are not disclosed. Focuses on methodologic and indings of related studies. For example, a meta-analyst would focus more on the quality of the evidence than on ethical aspects of the studies reviewed.
