Art is a separate domain that has nothing to do with reality. Its a matter of a certain type of experience. How its painted? not what its about. Its the way its depicted is what matters, how the artist plays with colour and line. What is the experience of seeing or hearing an artwork. The reality is not over there that art puts us in touch with, but reality in the experience itself. Rst one: more of a summary, deliberately neutral. Second one: you can understand his emotions more. The second one intensi es the reality of death. Socrates was known for being poor, he would walk around and talk to people and engage in a re ective discussion on what they do and what they think. An art in this sense is a domain of human expertise. The main answer we seem to get, is no. It is not something that can be compromitable to being a doctor.
