It"s present and accessible to the human mind. Distinctiveness: something sharply separated from all the other perceptions. I. e know the eiffel tower is made of steel. Clarity and dizziness rule out of evil genius hypothesis. Formal reality: the reality that a thing has in itself, as the thing it actually is. Objective reality: the reality that an idea has in virtue of its objective (the thing it"s an idea of) Whatever we perceive and feel is distinctly true. It matters because we know we exit and are a thinking thing, i may be the only thing in the universe, as a mind, that exists. We know god is not a deceiver, so c&d is valid. Problem of error: if our knowledge is true, then god is not a deceiver, So, if we get things wrong, then god is a deceiver, But we seem to get things wrong, but we have shown. Explains how error is consistent w/ god"s goodness bc:
