Socrates says of him that he shows courage. Problem with sophists is that they appear to teach knowledge, but don"t actually. Socrates, from a position where he acknowledges his lack of knowledge, is actually showing his level of knowledge. However, taking an experience and looking at it with reason, you have a bigger picture, leading to real knowledge. When you pose a question in this way, you"re allowing the other person to join their opinion with your own and develop the understanding of the meaning. Justice not as a means to achieve something else.
