Most murders are from passion as they don"t think of the consequence (don"t intend the murder) Anger, passion takes over: metaphysical passion brought to physical world, form of the good, legislations protect the economy over the environment as it"s a more immediate problem. Contradicting that the economy relies on the environment. Aristotle: virtue ethics, objective is eudaimonia/flourishing, things that affect your virtues. Exemplars (friends you choose affect your virtues) you have a choice: had demonstrable knowledge, the golden mean (scale of excess and deficiency where the middle is the best) The golden mean: moved by passion, attended by reason. To this day we don"t have a definition of good, but just things that we think are good. Pleasurable things aren"t necessary good like food, but eating bad food may make you feel unwell. Bad things aren"t necessary bad as they may have a good end.
