Document Summary
Make sure the package contains everything that has been asked for. Use the same sort of language they present to you. Use the same headings for your documents that are listed in a submission outline. Create a cover letter that lists the contents of your submission package. Present your materials in a neat folder if hard copy and in clearly organized digital folders if on cd. Submissions have two key elements: visual support material (representation of your work, documentation a. i. Images must be well exposed, colour balanced, etc (clean, dust- busted) a. ii. Use image format suggested in submissions guidelines, ie. jpegs, not tiff a. iii. Use image size recommended, here 8x10, 300 dpi a. iv. Tag your images with a colour profile a. v. Ensure images are properly cropped and framed (even borders, no white edges showing, etc) a. vi. Project images to see what they look like if possible a. vii. a. viii. Do not submit more images than asked for.
