In regards to the physical geography and layout of the region, it stretches between lake erie and ontario. Niagara escarpment, which runs east to west and is roughly 100 metres. In addition to the niagara escarpment, the onondaga is a secondary escarpment. However it is a much less prominent physical feature in comparison. Located in the centre of the region is the fronthill kame moraine (source).
