To a large extent, it is your memory that tells you who you are. Think about the things that make you, you. They are your relationships with others, your roles in society, the places you"ve been, and things you"ve learned and done. Long term memory is not something we necessarily consciously think of but if you want to remember it you can think and try and find and remember it. Short term memory is what you are thinking of right now you are currently think and conscious of it. Sensory register it like a reverse polaroid photo its a stage of memory where you take a complete pic of whatbu are looking at but after a second it disappears into nothing. Complete capture of raw image first stage of memory which is sensory register is the flash of light looking at frog and looks at sensations only lasts fraction of second and quickly sensory register disappears.
