Ex: things in air are birds, therefore airplane is a bird: social schemas: schemas about social experiences or people, stereotypes: social schemas about traits and behaviours of groups and their members. Most common are based on gender, race, and age. The power of expectations about a person"s actions to cause that person to behave in the expected way.
