Iui: sperm is injected directly in the uterus once the woman is ovulating, least invasive after sexual intercourse. Ivf: doctor gathers eggs/removes, they"re fertizlied outside of the women & then if the embryo develops properly, implanted back into woman - very expensive, no guarantee - take eggs out throw sperm at it hope it catches. & in uence from surrounding cells: cell death apoptosis: cell suicide ex. formation of ngers depends on death of cells in spaces in between them (death is preprogrammed for these cells) Stages of prenatal development: duration of pregnancy: typical 37-42, average = 40 weeks. Behavioural cycles: 5-6 weeks moves all the time for like a month then inactive/spread out movements. Sight and touch: tactile simulation from own activity (comesi n contact with other parts of its body, grabs umbilical chord, rubs feet/face, fetus grows larger = bumps against uterus walls. Taste: amniotic uid has avours, fetus can detect sweeter ones.
