Overgeneralizations that can be more or less true: are maintained when people find evidence to confirm the stereotype (cid:1) (cid:1) (cid:1) (cid:1) When evidence disconfirms it, they put it aside into a subgroup. People hold prejudice attitudes have stereotyped thoughts and beliefs and engage in discriminatory behaviour. Covert: out loud racism, shouting horrible things, unseen and hidden racism, nothing said to the face but a subtle form is there. Toronto is most multicultural city in the world where 43% are immigrants.
