Had specific tasks they had to achieve. Only 11% of participants at the end of the 6 year study were classified under successful aging. People over the age of 80 who are outperforming their peers on cognitive tasks, in particular episodic memory tasks, are caller superagers. Showing some decline, but less decline than their same-aged peers. Superagers found to have different brains than their peers, less brain shrinkage. Aging not all about genes,only 25% of longevity is inherited, the rest is due to other factors and some are modifiable. Cognitive aging is the most important for many people.
