Prosocial: when you give someone something, doing something to the benefit of someone else, doing something to sabotage someone else. Asocial: not doing anything with anyone, not engaged in social behaviour, just being with yourself. The scientific study of how individuals think, feel and behave in a social context . It is scientific questions: it takes a systematic approach to addressing relevant, it is based on theories to help explain social psychological phenomenon and to drive the research. It is about thought, feelings and behaviour and how these interact, intersect and influence each other. Making you be aware of the factors affecting your behaviours: the way the world functions. Many of our behaviour is social: face to face, at work, with friends and family, on the computer. Its concerned with social forces that influence our behaviour, feelings and thoughts: we are not aware.
