Unobtrusive research: studying social behaviour without affecting it: does not involve direct contact with human subjects, usually not requiring ethical approval/ ethics review, secondary data analysis: three examples: For example: eye witness accounts, tape recordings, your own survey results, original letters, your ads or commercials in content analysis.
