Quantitative research, is the close examination of social elements that can be counted of measured, used to generate statistics. Ethnography, a research method in which groups are studied through fieldwork. Participant observation, becoming a member of a group to experience the group first hand. Informants, insiders who help the researcher interpret info and behaviour and assist the research in becoming accepted by the group. Institutional ethnography, recognizes that every institution has two sides to it and therefore two separate sets of data;
