Social stratification is universal but variable, happens everywhere but is different in each location. The more technology simple a society is, the more simple the stratification. The more technology advanced a society it, the more advanced the stratification. Social stratification persists over time, they may alter but always a system in place, always continue. The economic gain someone gets from jobs, pension, ownership of property, etc. All the stuff of worth of monetary value an individual or family controls. Ex: property, houses, cars, bank accounts, stocks and bonds, factories, etc. Both income and wealth are similar and connected but are not the same. More income, more wealth you can generate. For every you earn, there"s a block. With blocks you can build a pyramid.
