Paying off debt is more important than peoples well being you cant question in a capitalist society, that making profit is the only thing you should care about. When you do question this, people don"t understand what you"re saying. Coherant set of beliefs that go together. European perspective of how we see the world: 1. Canadian society is deeply entrenched in christianity. It is the christian belief that god created humanity in his own image. This is crazy because all religion claim god is not supposed to have an image. Europeans understood that white upper class men were created in god"s image. That"s why all other minorities and women, were viewed as being unhuman. God gave dominion to man over animals and nature, also women, children and minorities. Which allowed for him to own his wife, and children and enslave whoever he wanted to.
