No longer exist, usually now archeological sites. Some form of dominant authority and organization. People were moving from rural areas to urban centers: they exploded with people (could get more jobs: machines and factories. Technological development, allowed for factories to be developed and changed how we do farming (cid:862)shift in agricultural field(cid:863) People could then be paid a wage for their labour (selling their labour: space-intensive and labor-intensive activity. More and more people went to work in space intensive. Dangerous work, lots of children working in bad work conditions: concept of (cid:862)u(cid:374)e(cid:373)ploy(cid:373)e(cid:374)t(cid:863) developed. Urban areas that were exploding with the number of people. Urbanization and sociology: emergence of western european sociology.
