Our speech is inherently laden with discourse. Use language to objectify, organize, & dictate: categorizing our experiences in world. Allows us to feel sense of control over our relations in world. Quiets our minds & takes away illusion of our sense of control. Opens us up to openness of not knowing & risk of growth. Allows us to move away from rigid ways of traditional logical education. Core teaching of buddhism now adopted in health & mental health field. Being fully present in moment with body & mind united.
