Tragic they start at the top (kings, high status), then they screw up by committing an act/make an error in judgment, and then have a tragic fall they often end up dead types: Status: starts with high status, or they rise to it quickly. Abilities: have some amazing abilities, they"re admirable. Character: something"s broken - they have some flaw in personality (ex; pride) or they make a mistake which can"t be reversed. Suffering: (cid:313) causes them to fall, losing their status, and suffer. Ending: often ends up dead, but the social ending is restored - since the tragic hero messed it up in the first place. Anti-hero is the bad guy - often on the other side of the law. Comic is often an average guy - we relate to them: similar to the quest hero, the story of transformation, comic heroes are related to the fools.
