Mechanical isolation and gametic isolation. preventions to mating. If animals manage to successfully mate the post zygotic stage will occur. Temporal isolation: works with plants. they release pollen at different times. Gametic isolation: male and female fail to be compatible. Reduced hybrid fertility: generation of produced organism will be sterile. Mushy bananas have fruit flies and feeding themselves nicely and reproducing. hurricane washes away the bananas with the fruit flies on them. they travel from the original island to another on their own.
