Defining Groups/Teams
Groups: two or more people with a common relationship. (ex.: people waiting
for bus)
Team: a small number of people working together to achieve a common
objective.
Use the terms interchangeably in this course
Problem solving: manage and identify a problem by management and team of
people solve that problem (ideas)
Self managed: identify the problem, make decisions as a group and
implement the decision
Cross-functional: bring together people from different, having different
perspectives
Virtual: any of these can be virtual
