Project is a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service or results. Program is a group of related projects designed to accomplished a common goal over an extended time. Examples: project: completion of a required course in accounting, program: completion of all courses required for a business major. 2- a defined life span with a beginning and an end. 3- usually, the involvement of several departments and professionals. 4- typically, doing something that has never been done before. 1- defining stage: goals: project activities are established, specifications: specifications of project is defined, tasks: teams are formed, responsibilities: major responsibilities are assigned. Plans are developed to determine: schedules: what the project will entail.
