Formalization: the number of forms you need to fill out. Strategy: a single product strategy to multiple products. The values of managers influence the organizational structure. Keiretsu in japan we don"t need contracts because we trust each other. One big company that owns different companies, all of which are a part of a keiretsu. Organization culture: shared assumptions, characteristics, how people in the organization interact with each other, how we coordinate and control without writing it down. Global integration makes me feel like i have more control. Cultural influences make it easier for us to operate in a certain way. Laws and institutions allow for easier local responsiveness. It is invested in the employees; it is about relationships.
