Keiretsu in japan we don"t need contracts because we trust each other. One big company that owns different companies, all of which are a part of a keiretsu. Organization culture: shared assumptions, characteristics, how people in the organization interact with each other, how we coordinate and control without writing it down. Global integration makes me feel like i have more control. Cultural influences make it easier for us to operate in a certain way. Laws and institutions allow for easier local responsiveness. It is invested in the employees; it is about relationships.
