Moving the magnets influenced which finger a participant responded with, esp at short reaction. Participants showed no awareness that their decisions were being influenced: feeling of choosing as best guess (cid:862)is that (cid:373)e? (cid:863), (cid:862)yes that (cid:449)as (cid:373)e(cid:863) Feeling of conscious will is a guess: produces very convincing, realistic experiences, like perception and memory, external factors influencing feelings. Participants jointly moved mouse to move cursor around the screen. Rate each stop for intentionality: high, even, low. One participant was a confederate and stopped on specific words mentioned on the tape: not a genuine subject, was told what to stop on when, manipulation of words timing matters.
