Once thinking about principles like surprise, easy to see why important. If just looking through notes, look exactly the same as they did when you wrote them down. In general, harder than not mixing things up. But more accurately shows what performance will look like later. Every time you practice, it"s worth all practices you did put together. When elaborating, make connections b/w what you"re learning to what you already to know. Need to rest on concepts you already have. Learning more difficult if you don"t elaborate. At the end of day, most of us have problem of not knowing what to do. Knowing value equation important to know why we don"t make decisions. Choosing to practice not just a function of learning once. Choice is not what you want to do in a few years. Choices that matter are you choosing what to do in your day.
