Industrial city was seen as dysfunctional: crowded and plenty of minority workers (employed by factories) Suburbs are categorically different: those living in suburbs are usually privileged, born into wealth (e. g. trump, as if it"s god gi(cid:448)e(cid:374) (cid:862)bri(cid:374)g (cid:373)e your huddled (cid:373)asses(cid:863, they will have a home in america, sonnet by lazarus. Cities developed by this: people seeking sanctuary. Fear of the (cid:862)others(cid:863: people (cid:272)o(cid:373)i(cid:374)g to north a(cid:373)eri(cid:272)a (cid:271)e(cid:272)ause it (cid:449)as see(cid:374) as the (cid:862)(cid:374)e(cid:449) (cid:449)orld(cid:863) full of opportunity. The new urbanism: we are going to have to redo essentially everything. Grow food closer to where we live.
