Provides depth/detail (processes emphasis: direct quotation, description of situations, event, interactions, observed behavior, analyzes talk, conversations, events, experiences. Flexible research design (fluid: many different methods that exist. Modern v. post modern (on canvas) (positivism v. interpretivist) Reason and rationality objective truth (modern) where other ways of knowing is equally valid and no such thing as single truth (post-modern) Good and accessible to human mind (modern) Important to consider distinctions but they are less relevant when taken to extreme so keep within reason.
