The morals of the prince why men are praised or blamed, especially princes o. It is obvious what style and principles a prince should adopt when dealing w/friends & subjects. Author = afraid people will be mad he is trying to go over this topic. However, he will talk about something different (the truth, and not wat people have imagined) something useful to an understanding reader o. Many people have imagined states and princedom since they =/= knew or saw one in real life. But there"s a different in the wat we really lie and they way we should live. The man who neglects the real, to study the ideal, will learn how to accomplish his ruin, not his salvation . Any man who tries to be good all the time is eventually going to come across those who are not. E. g. generous/stingy (clings to his own), greedy (wants to take other people"s goods), givers/grabbers, cruel/merciful, etc. many examples given.
