Aspect is the direction you are facing w/ respect to the sun and slope is the degree from the sun. Optimal absorption of radiation when on a flat surface (most energy) angle of incidence. If (cid:455)ou"re o(cid:374) either sides of the pole, you want to be at an angle as well. Surface reflectivity darker surfaces that absorb radiation vs lighter surfaces that reflect more radiation.
