Can we trust anecdotal evidence: can be dangerous bc its used to convince a lot of ppl that cam will save their lives instead of using conventional methods like chemo. What could explain what we see in terms of effect/response. The science around placebos/nocebos: not just a substance, there is actually a physiological response, real effects that go beyond ____ Tcm, ayurveda, naturopathy, homeopathy: nothing positive about homeopathy other than placebo effect. Discussed history, principles, advantages and limitations to these main systems. Focus on tai chi and qigong research and benefits. We should do research when it comes to cams.
