Female genital cutting: banned once risks, hemorrhage, etc. is shown, not justified as a cultural practice. Additional conditions: violence and sexual abuse: many don"t report, need to early detect cases of abuse, maternal morbidity and mortality, unsafe abortion, obstetric fistula, cardiovascular disease. Poor women are at higher risk than rich (huge difference)
