Cartilage flexible, connective tissue categorized based on arrangement of matrix fibers. Hyaline: end of long bones, nose, ends of ribs, larynx, trachea. Fibrocartilage: disks between vertebrae and in the knee, stronger than hyaline cartilage. Elastic: ear flaps and epiglottis, more flex than hyaline.
